Financial Freedom – Allowing Abundance Into Your Life
When you don’t have to consider how much things cost as part of your decision-making, you have financial freedom. Building wealth and attracting abundance into your life is simply a matter of changing your thoughts and allowing in the natural abundance that is there waiting for you! This is difficult to believe at first, but you can prove it to yourself. You don’t have to take my (or anyone else’s) word for it.
I’ve benefited greatly from Suze Orman’s books such as Courage to Be Rich, her PBS programs, and her products that help me protect my financial future. Suze speaks from the heart and helps me see the thoughts, beliefs and emotions that may be blocking my prosperity. Perhaps some of these resources will help you, too!
In my own experience, I had an irrational fear of “being a bag lady” and having to live out of my car. No idea where that came from, as the evidence in my life actually proved otherwise. I’ve never gone hungry, been without work when I wanted it for long, run out of money, or gone bankrupt. It was actually another self-defeating thought that I allowed to run my mind (and my life) by default.
Through a long series of learnings and experiments I eventually stumbled upon the concept (from the work of Edgar Cayce, Napoleon Hill and Abraham-Hicks mainly) that thoughts are things and they create emotions which indicate whether I’m in that moment focusing on something I want (good feelings) or something I don’t want (bad feelings). By focusing my emotional guidance system on relaxing and feeling better, I’m now living a very rich and abundant lifestyle.
I live on the water in a beautiful area in Tampa Bay, Florida. I have a great income that allows me to travel and afford most everything I really want. I have beautiful new furniture and accessories, clothes I love and many of the “trappings” of success that I want. My life is so good! And while I’m satisfied and happy with my life today, I still want it to get better and better. And it does!
I’ll give you an example of how you can play with this in your own life.
Practice with something that you have little resistance to…something that you don’t care about deeply or have a long history of wanting and “failing” to achieve it.
Think about butterflies. Close your eyes and visualize a beautiful butterfly. See more butterflies joining her in the most brilliant and varied colors you can imagine. Feel the butterflies landing lightly all over your body. They tickle as the touch your face and arms. They flutter around the beautiful flowers in a butterfly garden filled with brightly colored trumpet flowers and water ponds. Feel how happy these butterflies make you feel. You imagine what it feels like to flutter and fly like a butterfly. You’re so free and playful. You’re flying around the room, checking out all the flowers as you lightly land on the delicate, fragrant blossoms. It smells like the finest French perfume floral scent. You feel the air gliding over your wings and legs. You hear the hummingbirds buzzing around you and the waterfall splashing the pond nearby. You could fly in this heaven-on-earth forever.
Now, open your eyes. Watch for signs of butterflies all around you today. You’ll amaze yourself with real butterflies around you…pictures of butterflies in unusual places…people talking about butterflies…TV shows about butterflies.
You have just demonstrated that you can manifest what you think about when you relax, enjoy, and allow it to come to you!
