Book Reviews

Here are some of my favorite books for changing your life:

Personal and Spiritual Development Books

Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The classic guide to personal transformation based on Andrew Carnegie’s secret philosophy of success. I like the Action Pack version (there are many other versions) because it has a workbook with exercises at the back. This book contains the secret upon which many of the current Law of Attraction books and videos are based. My recommendation as a great starting point in your reading about Law of Attraction and changing your life. This book was instrumental in Jerry Hick’s journey to the Abraham material, and it was one of my early favorites. I also know several self-made millionaires who say this is one of their favorite books.

Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks (The Teachings of Abraham). I recommend this book as the next book on your reading journey for the Law of Attraction and changing your life for good.

Money, and the Law of Attraction–Learning to Attract Wealth, Health and Happiness by Esther and Jerry Hicks. This book is an expansion on Ask and It Is Given with a special focus on money and health.

Finding Meaning in the Second Half of Life–How to Finally, Really Grow Upby James Hollis, Ph. D., a Jungian psychoanalyst. My book group has read two of Hollis’ books and enjoyed our discussions.

A Search for God, Book I & II by Edgar Cayce (Author), Association for Research & Enlightenment (Editor). A wonderful small group study guide for spiritual growth and development. My 10+ years in a SFG study group was the foundation for my spiritual growth and development in the 80s.

Business & Marketing Books

The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss. The manifesto on mobile work, lifestyle design, and mini-retirements that’s changing the way we look at work.
